TVNZ ondemand allows you to see shows you might have missed or ones you want to watch again. Current episodes, news and classic Kiwi programmes from the past are all on offer. Make sure you check the FAQs to find out if TVNZ ondemand will run on your computer. Find out what movies are coming up on TVNZ or view listings for all channels.
TV3 also offers a range of online viewing, organised by programme, some with limited time viewing. To access some content and enter competitions you may need to join as a VIP.
Plenty of programme listings and competitions on their home page and have a dedicated area to watch C4 videos.
Māori TV offer news and current affairs programmes online in te reo Māori with English subtitles. For important news events they offer a live stream of their broadcasts. Their programme listings are available on their website home page.
Offers news and weather clips on its website as well as programme listings and promo videos of local content, and footage of local events.
Prime offers listings and info about programmes on its home page. Videos are under each programme, such as on the news page.
If your house has Sky TV, for $5 a month you can download selected movies and sport and other offerings from the website. Watch your broadband limits though – movie files are big! Sky TV and free-to-air channels are available for viewing at selected public libraries.

NZ On Screen offers online viewing of over 250 titles and says it's "the best of New Zealand television and film", including short films. You can also meet the people who work in the behind the scenes in TV and film production - directors, producers, camera operators, animators, narrators and actors.
NZ Film Archive is a must-visit for those with an interest with New Zealand as shown on our screens.
Although it isn't a TV website, we have to mention YouTube - lots of videos online.
