It’s time to go back to school, not an appealing thought I know, but it could be all the sweeter if you invest in some new gadgets. Here are six of the best.

6: Maths equation T-shirt

Perfect for the math and science phobes out there, this t-shirt is covered in maths equations, need to know what e equals? Just look down.

5: LiveScribe Smartpen

This pen records audio AND syncs that audio to the notes you take which can be indexed and searched on your computer. Or you can just listen to parts of the lecture again by tapping the appropriate section on your exercise book. The knee-bone is connected to the what bone? Time to search my notes…

4: Propeller alarm clock

“Punctuality can be a problem” – the one blemish on my otherwise pristine school record. Wouldn’t have been a problem if I had this alarm clock (image from firebox.com). When the alarm sounds the propeller shoots off your alarm clock into whereabouts unknown and won’t shut up until you find it and replace it. It’s amazing how awake you feel once you’ve been searching under your bed for a couple of minutes while a fog horn-like alarm sounds.
