Enter this year’s Re-Draft competition

Re-Draft, now in its ninth year, has so far published brilliant work by 190 new New Zealand writers, many of them building a fine portfolio through success over several years.

This is your chance to get your talent recognised in a book that will be read all over New Zealand and provide inspiration to others.

Entry is free, and the form can be found the eighth in the Re-Draft series, DIY Graffiti, edited by Tessa Duder and James Norcliffe.

Re-Draft: Where publication is the prize

How to enter:

  1. Find DIY Graffiti in your school, polytechnic, university or public library. Or in your English Department. Check out the quality of the writing to make sure you’re on the right track.
  2. Photocopy the 2009 entry form from the back of the book.
  3. Read the guidelines carefully and send us your entries – a maximum
    of three, in verse or prose. Length must be suitable for inclusion in an
    anthology.
  4. Don’t forget to give your entries great titles. You might win the title of the
    year competition.
