Robert GilbertRobert Gilbert (pictured far left) set the whole tour up, and said the troupe should be proud of themselves.

“They are not only fine actors, they are fine people. It has been an extraordinary adventure for them and one that they will never forget. I am enormously proud of their achievements.”

What did they do?

In addition to performing in schools and community venues the length of the country, the Aranui Theatre Company performed at three theatre festivals. They won awards for individual members and the troupe, including the British Drama League Trophy for the Best Comedy at the District Theatre Federation Festival.
