Pure is a lovely album, with a variety of music, both sad and happy. Hayley Westenra picks out her songs carfully, choosing ones that suit her voice, and the public enjoy. Pure was her best-selling album, with brilliant songs such as Who Painted The Moon Black, and Across The Universe Of Time. Ever since I listened to it, I have loved Hayley Westenra's cds, and I would recommend them to any teenage girl that likes classical music.

Gorgeous, dramatic, fantastic with touches that make me think of The Wall. Hard to pick a favourite track but so far I particularly like Mama and Teenagers. They're giving away t-shirts at some record stores too.

I was looking foward to listening to this CD and
loved the 2 first songs '4eva' and 'everything I'm not' with it's
head bopping rhythm and it's very catchy tune but all the songs
following were too hilary duff mixed with the bratz dolls. there
are really only 3 tracks worth listening to on this album-you'd
be better off buying the single.

Remember the name Ryan Prebble if this extraordinarily deep, soulful and sublime debut album is a guide, you’ll be hearing much more from the Wellington singer-songwriter. Prebble certainly has the pedigree to achieve great things, brother of the accomplished producer Lee (Blackseeds, Phoenix Foundation, Fly My Pretties, Fat Freddy’s et al) and well-immersed in the Capital mafia that has dominated New Zealand music for the past few years and on Fruits this talent is undoubtedly played out.
Opening with the Theremin-induced weirdness of ‘Escaping the Blue’, the album drifts like a paddle through the mysterious eddies of a Louisiana swamp; it is a soulful, mournful and atmospheric collection of bluegrass, blues and pop-folk enveloped in introspection. Prebble’s searching voice is impressive; as is his playing, nestled in tight production. What impresses most about Fruits is its completeness. Each track commands attention, yet does not demand it; and one is drawn to listen to the album in its entirety without any urge to flick forward to favourites. Subsequently, it’s hard to pick favourites from this bunch, but if one is pushed then the mid-album trilogy of the smoky bourbon-den blues ‘Sun in Your Eyes’, upbeat hillbilly ditty ‘Coming Along’ and the acoustic dub of the title track ‘Fruits’ make strong cases for being highlights. Moody, brooding and magnificent, these Fruits deserve to be picked.

Bullet In A Bible documents the two biggest shows that Green Day has headlined in their career, playing to over 130,000 people at London’s Milton Keynes National Bowl on June 11 & 12 2005. The DVD features over 100 minutes of exclusive performance, rare behind-the-scenes footage, including candid interviews with each band member discussing their career and life on the road, along with footage of fans demonstrating their deep commitment to the band. From start to finish, it documents the band effortlessly taking its music from studio to stadium and their intense love and dedication to performing live.

This music CD/DVD combo is live footage of Green Day's Milton
Keynes Concert. While the CD is full of live music, the DVD delivers
Queen-worthy stadium rock-complete with onstage explosions timed
to guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong's hand movements - in front
of at least 130,000 crazed British fans. One of the key moments
in this DVD is when the trio blaze through a ten minute plus "Jesus
of Surburbia”
It also contains backstage footage as well as comments/ interviews
with the band as well the occasional "surprise".
