Free globally influenced, locally grown live music at the Botanic Gardens. That's what Lazy Sundays are all about.
From 3.30pm to 5pm, find a relaxing place to sit on the Central Lawn (by the Rose Garden), in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens (only cancelled if it's wet).

Classical Sparks: Friday 5 February 2010Do you like your music classical and with fireworks blasting? Classical Sparks starring the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra is the one for you. The show starts with local schools performing in ASB Classical Kids at 7.00pm followed by the main show at 8.00pm.
This Christchurch tradition features movie themes, opera duets, Gareth Farr’s extraordinary composition ‘Aoraki’ will be a stand out performance with involvement of the Christchurch City Choir and the Te Ahikaaroa Kapa Haka group
High School Musical fans might be excited to see this one on stage at the James Hay Theatre, it's not just at the movies.
Paramore, a band from Tennessee, have gained huge popularity since their song Decode was used in the soundtrack to vampire movie Twilight.
