Hey bands - win $1000 at Rapid Storm

Guitarists There's $1000 on the line for the band the crowd likes the most in the annual Rapid Storm competition, run by 4YP and Zebedees.

Steve and the crew from Zebedees on Blenheim Road are hosting the event at the all ages venue. As the audience enters the venue they will be given a voting token to vote for their favourite band.

Any band can enter

The competition is open to all bands with members up to the age of 20 years. Band members must be under the age of 20 on the night of the final.

Weekly heats

Heats will run weekly at Zebedees from Saturday 2 August.
Each heat will feature bands playing 20 minute sets. Places are filling fast, but there are still some spots left.

Heats run until August 30, followed by two six-band semi-finals and the grand final on 27 September. The prize is $1000 with Rockshop gift vouchers for second and third places (donated by Zebedees).
