The good people at CHART put on a massive event called CHARTFEST on May 23. There were live performances and advice and workshops by some of the best in the business.
The Pulse went along to soak up the atmosphere. We met heaps of people like the Red Panda crew. We spoke to musos Nicola and Jordana to hear their thoughts, and while we were there we interviewed Jason Kerrison from Op Shop and Ben Campbell from Atlas. We also found out how much you love badges and stickers!
You can hear the audio of these interviews in one chunk (5Mb MP3) or in separate pieces:
You can see photos of our visit on our Flickr page and there are plenty more reviews and photos on the CHART site.

I think chart fest was a great show. it opened at 12.30pm and finihed at 10.30 at nite.it was a big music expo celebrating n.z music month. it was the first time it was in chch bt it worked really well.ther wer stands of polytechs and unies advertisin sum career options. they also had the finals for the highscool band comp.and frm 6.30 onwards they had a rock concert wich was awsum. But best of all they had clinics for ur instruments so u could get sum advice from sum profesionals about them. over all it was aimed at high school students and it gave them practical experience of what they mite like to do when they leave scool. This expo is a must c 4 nxt year.
