Back to school competition 2009

Kimberley Noah was the winner of our 2009 Back to school competition - where you told us the best and the worst things about going back to school. Her answer was:

"The worst thing about going to school is having to wake up at 7am, in the holidays you can wake up at 12 ish and skip breakfast altogether and go straight to lunch, it means less dishes for you to do!"

The prize?

Kimberley won a $25 voucher from Whitcoulls, plus a The Pulse satchel and a 1Gb flash drive. Well done.

I hate the amount of homework we get, it's just a whole pile of unfinished teachers work. We go to school for 6 hours and 25 minutes and come home with homework from almost every subject that's due the next day.

The best thing for me will be getting a new English teacher. Last year's teacher was soooo critical. I've always done well at English, but last year I didn't really learn anything from this teacher and I didn't get the NCEA grade I felt I deserved after working so hard!
